Wineries near Villasimius
Looking for a winery near Villasimius? Colline del Vento is a few minutes from the town and from the sea: five hectares of vineyard on the Brennas hills, granite soils, a harvest done by hand and wines from organic farming. The visit happens among the rows, not in some generic tasting room.
Where we are
We are in Villasimius, in south-east Sardinia, about forty minutes from Cagliari and a few minutes from the beaches of Simius, Porto Giunco and Capo Carbonara. The vineyard lies on the hills behind the town, at 230–250 metres above sea level, where the wind off the sea dries the bunches and keeps the grapes healthy.
What you can do
- Tasting in the vineyard — our wines tasted where they are born, with local food alongside.
- Lunch or dinner among the rows — a table in the vineyard, with Sardinian dishes.
- Picnic — the informal version: a basket, some shade and a view over the hills.
- Workshops — fresh pasta and culurgiones, for anyone who wants to take home a skill as well.

The wines you'll taste
Entu, Vermentino di Sardegna DOC: a fresh, mineral white with the savouriness of the sea nearby. Brennas, Cannonau di Sardegna DOC: deep red, soft tannins, fermented in steel and unfiltered. C'Alma, an orange wine macerated on the skins: amber, structured, unlike anything else. Zankitai, an orange pet nat re-fermented in the bottle. At the winery you'll also find our Villasimius honeys, made by the hives that sit in the scrub around the vineyard.
Why come here
We are not a big winery and we don't want to be. We are a family business — Gianluca and his father Mario — and we run the visits ourselves: we talk about the vineyard, the wind and the harvest, and we taste without rushing. People who come for the sea and spend an afternoon here usually come back.
