About Us
The first winery born and raised in Villasimius, in the heart of southeastern Sardinia.
Colline del Vento is located in Brennas, in the Province of Cagliari, in a territory that is generous to those who respect it and demanding to those who lack patience. Here, the wind is not just in the name. It is the mistral wind that caresses the rows, dries the leaves after the rain, and carries the salt from the sea into the grapes. It is part of the character of every bottle we produce.

From the wind, from the earth to the sea
Our project stems from a simple belief: to make organic wines that truly tell the story of this place. Not interpretations, not concessions to easy tastes – but honest wines that bring the personality of a unique territory to the bottle. For us, quality is not a marketing objective: it is the respect due to the land we work every day.
On a steep terrain overlooking the blue sea of Villasimius, kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind, vineyards take shape that tell the authentic character of the territory. We work in organic farming: we respect the times of the earth, without ever forcing it.
Founded in 2006, Colline del Vento was born from a shared dream: to celebrate the beauty of our land, to preserve the memory of family history, and to enhance the extraordinary gifts that nature offers us. Small by choice, authentic by vocation.

Mario – Hands in the soil
Wine is born long before the cellar. It is born in winter, when the vine rests and someone is already there preparing it for the season to come. Mario is that person.
With dedication and attention, he walks the rows of the Villasimius vineyard every day, supported by traditional chestnut poles, following the rhythm of the seasons with the experience of someone who knows the vine like an old friend. From winter rest to vegetative growth, from flowering to the most awaited moment—the harvest—his work never truly stops. It changes form, it changes gestures, but the care always remains the same.
Our winery has no walls. The countryside itself safeguards our work: the scents of the earth, the orderly rows, the roses growing at the edge of the vineyards. The sky is our roof, the earth is our floor, and Mario is what holds it all together—with respect for nature and its rhythms.
Every cluster that arrives at the winery carries his work with it. And every bottle, in some way, also tells his story.

Gianluca – The Voice of the Vineyard
There's a moment during every visit when wine stops being a drink and becomes a story. Gianluca is the one who transforms that moment.
As the hospitality manager at Colline del Vento, he guides guests through the rows of vines overlooking the sea of Villasimius – enthusiasts, curious individuals, travelers seeking a wine tourism experience that goes beyond the glass. With him, every visit becomes something authentic: you walk through the vineyards, touch the earth, and truly understand what happens before the wine reaches the bottle.
He tells the winery's story with the naturalness of someone who has lived that history from within. He explains the territory, the harvest, the choices made in the vineyard and the cellar – without unnecessary technical jargon, with the simplicity of someone who knows that beautiful things don't need to be complicated.
Every visit with Gianluca is designed for those who want to understand, not just taste.
Come visit us among the rows. The history of Colline del Vento is best understood by walking through the vineyards.
